Thomas W. Fisher, son of the late Xury Fisher and Pearl Irene Adams Fisher, was born June 27, 1934 in Mexico, Missouri and died April 1, 2014 at the age of 79 years old.
He was married December 9, 1955 at Lebanon, Missouri to Willa Dene Bailey, who preceded him in death November 21, 2003.
He is survived by two children, Tyra Wilson and husband, Raymond, Independence, Missouri, and Cindy Rogers and husband, Robert, Tecumseh, Missouri; one brother, Zury “Joe” Fisher and wife, Crystal, Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Polly Thomas, Lebanon, Missouri, and Alice Randolph, state of Arizona; five grandchildren, Jason, Robert, Angela, Donna, and Jon; seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Melvin Fisher and one sister, Nancy.
He attended the Clear Springs Baptist Church, Ozark County, Missouri. He loved to ride his golf cart around the farm with his dog. He loved to farm, especially take care of his chickens, and also enjoyed gardening.
