Marvin Eugene Bussell, Jr., son of the late Marvin E. Bussell, Sr. and Lorene June (Day) Bussell was born November 5, 1942 in Koshkonong, Missouri and died October 15, 2026.
He was united in marriage December 9, 1961 to Joyce Marie Butler.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Joyce Bussell of the family home Koshkonong; three children, Terry Bussell wife Colleen, West Plains, Missouri, Tammy Pressley husband Les, West Plains, Missouri, and Bucky Bussell wife Kerry, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Danny Bussell wife Dolly, Purdy, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Cox, Chauteau, Oklahoma; five granddaughters, Amber Knapp husband BJ, Prim, Arkansas, Ashley Osgood husband Brooks, West Plains, Missouri, Amanda Roberts husband Jamie, Koshkonong, Missouri, Andrea Dodson, husband Trent, Prim, Arkansas, Heather Graham husband Aaron, Prim, Arkansas; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Dean Bussell.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
There will be a visitation evening Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
