Cecelia Ellen Becker, age 70, was born in Washington D.C, and raised in Northern Virginia. Daughter of the late Paul Simpson Harvey, Jr. and late Jean Mayhugh Harvey. She passed away October 2, 2026, West Plains, Missouri.

She is survived by her loving husband Les Becker, daughter Sharese Becker, both of West Plains, MO. As well as a host of loving extended family and lifelong friends.

Cecelia had a beautiful talent of seeing the world through the lens of her camera. Very rarely did she go far without her camera in hopes of catching a great shot. Her beautiful scenery photos and candid family group photos will be forever cherished.

Cecelia was compassionate and a true advocate for rescue animals. She believed that all animals deserved a safe and loving home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Heavens Creatures Thrift Store, and can be left at Carter Funeral Home, Inc, West Plains, Missouri 65775

I’m so glad that Facebook reunited me with Cecelia some thirty-five years after high school. It’s amazing how posts, texts, and calls can feel like live visits over the years. I will truly miss her friendship, along with her sharp sense of humor. God’s blessings and comfort to the family she loved so deeply.

Les and Sharese Im so sorry. I’ve been trying to call and text Cece. Last time I talked to her she was so confused, couldn’t understand what she was trying to say. We went to Notre Dame Academy, class of 1974. This has to be so hard on you both. She told me her health isn’t good and getting worse. Have so many amazing memories. We had so much fun. Can’t believe this……. Prayers for both 🙏🏼 of you. My friend Cece is in a good place. No more pain or health issues. “Till we meet again my Friend Cece” ❤️
