Kenneth Marion Sisco was born October 27, 1943 in Alton, Missouri to the late Larwood and Marjorie Sisco.  He entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2021 at the age of 77 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larwood and Marjorie Sisco; and two brothers, Jerry Sisco and Van Sisco.

Kenneth is survived by two children, Chad Sisco of Alton, Missouri and Tonia Exum of Alton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Clayton Sisco, Lauren Sisco, Andy Sisco, Ellie Exum and Callie Exum; three sisters, May King, Kay Bradley and Betty Roy; one brother, Ronnie Sisco; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

He graduated from Alton High School with the class of 1962.  After high school he worked as a carpenter.

Kenneth was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.

He could build and fix just about anything and enjoyed helping anyone who needed it.  Kenneth loved to talk and tell stories and was friendly to everyone he met.  He also enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he got the chance.

Kenneth loved his family and was so proud of his grandkids.  He liked spending time with them and talking to them on the phone about what was going on in their life.  He was a constant support to his children and grandchildren and would do anything he could, from babysitting to building porches, to help them. 

He was great friend, brother, Papa and Dad.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Funeral services for Kenneth M. Sisco will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Chet Sisco officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.

Burial will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Bailey Chapel Cemetery near Alton, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

    Chad, Tonia & family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met your father when I first moved here back in 1982, he did some work for me. I know he will be missed.

    So sorry for your loss i remember ken eth back when we went to school and lived in alton back in 1957 jerry was my brotherinlay back then well we know where kennth is now he is with the lord i will pray for the family.

    I’m sorry to hear about your family member, I really didn’t know him that well, but I knew his brother Jerry well. My father was Norman and he was Clifford Sisco double cousin. My condolences and deepest sympathy for y’all may God comfort y’all with his lovin’embrace.
