Clifford Wrenfrow was born the son of John Woodrow Wrenfrow and Samantha Mae (Garrison) Wrenfrow on June 19, 1930 in Ravenden, Arkansas, and departed this life September 22, 2013 in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.
He was united in marriage on October 13, 1956 in California, Missouri to Emma Albertin, who preceded him in death on July 23, 2013.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Joseph Wrenfrow and wife, Terri of Thayer, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Colette Schlernitzauer and husband, Frank of Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Danielle Daniels and husband, Shawn of Benton, Tennessee, Timothy Trey Wrenfrow and wife, Allison of Barling, Arkansas, Justin Jeramiah Garrison of St. Louis, Missouri and Tasha Nicole Cantrell and husband, Blain of Olathe, Kansas; two great grandchildren, Jeramiah Xavier Garrison and Lily Mariah Garrison, both of Clarksville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews, his church family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma Wrenfrow; four brothers, Willis, Hanford, Buford, and Truman Wrenfrow; and one sister, Gereva Reckelhoff.
Clifford was employed by McDonnell Douglas aircraft company in St. Louis, Missouri as a sheet metal worker for eighteen years. He was a salesman for AAA Insurance for three years, and worked as an inspector for Marathon Electric in West Plains, Missouri, retiring after many years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, growing fruit trees, working on the family farm, and loved animals.
Clifford faithfully attended the Thayer Free Will Baptist Church, as long as health permitted. He was devoted to the Lord, his wife and family and, was a loyal friend. He will truly be missed by all.
Funeral services for Mr. Wrenfrow will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Thayer Free Will Baptist Church in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Richard Robinson, Brother Matthew Todd and Brother Joe Garrison officiating.
Visitation will be at the Carter Funeral Home in Thayer on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery at Myrtle, Missouri, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks or Gideon’s International.
