Mary Louise Clausing
Mary Louise Clausing was born September 6th 1934 in Wirth Arkansas, the daughter of Cloyd Virgil Sellers and Rebecca Estelle Brake Sellers (deceased Oct 4 1934). Mary departed this life on February 15, 2020 at her home in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 85.
She is survived by two sons, Rudolph Clausing Jr. (wife Gloria) and Rick Clausing (wife Stacey recently deceased) and one daughter, Gina Clausing-Dawe (husband Travis Dawe); ten grandchildren, Cameron, Caleb, Colter, Chase, Anna, Abrielle, Rick Jr., Robert, Max, and Justice; six great grandchildren, Jacob, Alexa, Lacey, Landon, Maryn, and Rue; two brothers, Harold Sellers and Carl Sellers; three sisters, Margaret Sanders, Barbara Russell and Glenda Root.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyd and Florence Sellers, her husband Rudolph; and two brothers, Troy Sellers and Sherman Sellers.
Mary was a Christian women who taught her children the Bible, loved watching TV sermons and listening to gospel music.
As a child she picked cotton with her family. Later, she worked at the bus station in Thayer, Missouri and the Nuway Burger in Kansas City where she met her husband Rudolph.
After they were married, she raised three children.
Mary was a devoted wife, caregiver, and homemaker with the most gentle spirit and a heart of gold. She was kind and thoughtful to a fault, and an incredible cook who always offered food to family, friends, and strangers alike.
She will truly be missed by her family and all that knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Mary Louise Clausing will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1:00 to service time at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer.
Burial will be in Jeff Cemetery in Myrtle, Missouri with service under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
