Bobby Glenn Brewer was born the son of Hughie Denton Brewer and Vada Lorene Brewer on March 23, 1941, in Myrtle, Missouri, and departed this life on April 11, 2014, at Westview Nursing Home in Center, Missouri, at the age of 73 years.
He is survived by two brothers, Delbert Brewer and wife, Darlene of Marionville, Missouri and Jack Brewer and wife, Cindy of Stigler, Oklahoma; several nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hughie and Lorene Brewer.
Bobby lived a simple life and faced each day with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed company of family and friends and the twinkle in his eyes and his jovial laugh could light up a room.
His favorite pastime was listening to music, especially any of Willie Nelson’s songs and was an avid collector of stuffed animals.
Bobby will be remembered for his love of people, kind heart and gentle spirit. He will truly be missed.
Graveside Services for Bobby Brewer, age 73, of Center, Missouri, formerly of Thayer, will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cotton Creek Cemetery near Couch, Missouri with Ida Mae Cypret officiating.
Mr. Brewer’s body will Lie-in-State at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer on Wednesday, April 16th from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Burial will be in the Cotton Creek Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
