Funeral Services for Wanda Mae Frost Taylor, 84, Pomona, Missouri, will be 10:00am Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with the Brother Rick Rutledge officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

She was born the daughter of Riley Blankenship and Dorothy Turner Blankenship on September 23, 1931 in Alton , Missouri and died July 22, 2016 in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 84 years.

She was united in marriage March 18, 1947 in Alton, Missouri, to Joy Frost who preceded her in death on September 16, 1988. She was united in marriage March 11, 1995 in West Plains, Missouri to William Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, William Taylor, of the home, in Pomona, Missouri; one daughter, Lyna Ballentine of Wright City, Missouri; one son, Tony Frost and wife, Carmelita of Pomona, Missouri; one grandson, Steven Smith and wife, Becky of Battlecreek, Michigan; one granddaughter, Leonila Fazzino and husband, Anthony of Springfeld, Missouri; three great granddaughters, Christara Smith of Denver, Colorado, Carmelita Smith of Springfield, Missouri, and her latest great granddaughter, Sicily Fazzino of Springfeld Missouri, whom she greatly enjoyed; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy Frost; her parents Riley Blankenship and Dorothy Turner Blankenship; and two sisters, Beaulah Deckard and Betty Holmes.

She was an employed by Mountain View Fabrication for several years making coin acceptors. She was of the Pentecostal faith and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will truly be missed.

Family visitation will be Sunday 6-8pm.
Burial will be in Bailey Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    The world has lost a great saint who now is where she belongs at the feet of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and the Almighty Father. May the family be blessed during this time. My husband & I as well as many of my brothers and sisters will miss her.

    Sister Wanda was a wonderful woman and had such a sweet spirit. She was always welcoming to us and loving, never missing a chance to give a hug. Many fond memories.
