   Sarah Jane (Harrison) Coker, age 79, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away on January 13, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on July 19, 1944, to George and Helen (Barnheart) Harrison. On October 5,1968, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Powell Coker, and together, they raised four children. 

   Formerly of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Sarah was a long-time, treasured home-health aide for White River Area Agency On Aging where she brought comfort and gentle kindness to her clients. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was never found far from her sisters, Shirley and Barb, who were also her best friends. Celebrating special occasions with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was the most joyous occasion for Sarah, and she was overwhelmingly proud of the family she and Powell had created. 

   She cherished her family dearly and was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed.

   Sarah is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Macy) Koehn of Little Rock, Arkansas; one son, Robert (Kathleen) Coker of Troy, Missouri; her beloved grandchildren Jason, Jeremy, Nathan, Amber, Shauna, Lacy, Madison, Gage, Karli, Addison, and Garrett; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Shirley Wilson and Barbara Harrison; one brother William Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Powell Coker; one daughter, Georgia Doremus (Coker); and one son, Micheal Coker.

 

  Funeral services for Sarah Jane Coker, age 79, of Hardy, Arkansas, will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 till 12:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.

 

  Interment will be private at Moten Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Under the directions of Carter Funeral, Inc. Thayer, Missouri.

    Sorry to hear about your loss. Remember growing up close by spending a lot of time at her parents home where we played fight & made up alot. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

    My sympathies to the family of Ms.Sarah.. She was always a soft spoken lady who loved by many. I know her sisters, Shirley & Barb, will miss part of their shadow. Prayers for comfort to you all in the family
