Reitha P. Altier, age 73, of Zanesville, Ohio went to be with her Lord 4:08 AM Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Genesis Hospice in Zanesville.
She was born April 03, 1944 in Campbell, Missouri the daughter of William M. and Delphia Marie Newman Bray.
Reitha had been an owner & operator of an Arcade, employed at United Technologies, was employed as a real estate agent with Town & Country Realty, and most recently was an owner & operator of a childcare center. She loved sewing, crafts and floral designing. She mostly enjoyed teaching her family about the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her six children; John Paul (Joanna) Altier, Jason Altier, Rachele (Chris) McKinney, Joseph Altier, Renee (Abel) Niculcea, Rebecca “Robin” (Joel) Yeske; 21 Grandchildren; Isaac, Dominic, Isabele, Elizabeth, Ashtin, Aydenn, Connor, Abigail, Lucas, Rachel, John, Harley, Hannah, Natalie, Jamie, Justice, Mikala, Austin, Alisha, Ashley, & Amanda; 6 Great Grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Lee Bray and Gene Bray. Reitha was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, followed by a procession to Thayer Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.
Interment will be in Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
