Paul Buttocovoli, Sr. was born the son of John Buttocovoli and Catherine (Lombardo) Buttocovoli on August 11, 1937, in Sicklerville, New Jersey, and departed this life January 16, 2014, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 76 years.

He was united in marriage on July 31, 1976, in Hammonton, New Jersey, to Kathleen Ann Lardi.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Buttocovoli of the home in Gatewood, Missouri; three sons, Paul Buttocovoli, Jr. and wife, Kathleen of New Jersey, John Buttocovoli, and companion, Barbara of Nesco, New Jersey, and Joshua Buttocovoli and wife, Marci of Williamstown, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Joshua, Jr., Madison, and Emily Buttocovoli; two brothers, Jake Buttoli of Kingsman, Maine, and Bobby Buttocovolo and wife, Barbara of Seffner, Florida; one sister, Mary Bassano of Newfield, New Jersey; one brother-in-law, Larry Harding of Williamstown, New Jersey; one sister-in-law, Virginia Buttocovolo of Brandon, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Bush; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Driscoll; one brother, John Buttocovolo; and one sister, Madeline Harding.

Paul was a farmer and employed by the State of New Jersey for thirty-four years as a hospital cook. After his retirement, he and Kathleen moved to their farm in Missouri, where they raised cattle, goats, and sheep.

He was baptized in June of 1975 and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Thayer, Missouri.

He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, collecting coins and duck stamp prints, beekeeping, motorcycling, and traveling to various livestock auctions.

He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband. He will truly be missed by his family and many friends.
