Noah Wayne Ladd, 77, of Williford, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in his home.  He was born in Williford, Arkansas on May 15, 1943, the son of the late Clarence James Ladd, Sr. and Sadie Marie (Abney) Ladd.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sadie Ladd; and his brother, Clarence Ladd, Jr.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rebecca Ann (Greene) Ladd; one son, Kenneth Ladd of Williford, Arkansas; one grandson, Casey Ladd; one granddaughter, Ashley Ladd of Williford, Arkansas; and one great granddaughter, Shai Ladd, who Wayne fondly called “Cricket”, also of Williford, Arkansas.

He was a Christian with a deep belief in God.

Wayne proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He spent his working years building roads all across the state of Arkansas.  After retiring, he helped in the family business of raising puppies.

Wayne was a warn-hearted person, who was kind and considerate to everyone.  His family meant everything to him.  He spent his last few months preparing his family for his passing.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandpa and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services for Noah Wayne Ladd will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford Cemetery near Williford, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.

Burial will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Bradford Cemetery near Williford, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
