Michael R. Martin was the son of Tom R. Martin and Elaine Waldron Martin. He was born on December 16, 1982, in Manningtown Township, New Jeresey, and departed this life May 28, 2018, at Shady Oaks Health Care Center in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 35 years.
He is survived by ten brothers and sisters, Tim Martin and wife, Lisa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tommy Ray “Rusty” Martin, Jr. of Thayer, Missouri, Julie Martin of Thayer, Missouri, Robert Martin of Thayer, Missouri, Sandra Martin of Kennett, Missouri, Marcus Martin of Koshkonong, Missouri, David Martin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Christopher Martin of Kennett, Missouri, Noah Martin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Shonda Martin of Thayer, Missouri; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Elaine Martin; and one brother, Edward Martin.
Michael loved to be outside, he loved to swim when he was able, and loved to go “bye-bye”.
He was a cherished son and a sweet and loving brother. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Jake Lawrence officiating.
Interment with be in Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
