On June 19, 2013, Carrie Maxine Robinson, of Bentonville, AR; formerly of Mammoth Spring, AR, passed away at the age of 88. Maxine was born January 20th, 1925 in Moko, AR, to Vester and Minnie Carter Peterson.

She was preceded in death by J.C. Robinson, her husband of 62 years; two infant grandaughters; Kari Elizabeth Garrison and Lesan Renae Garrison.; her parents; one sister Marie Coldiron Peterson; seven brothers, Oscar, Thurman, Dale, Norman, and Loyd and two infant brothers; Truman and Earl.

Maxine is survived by one daughter, Barbara Garrison and one bonus son Rick Garrison of Bentonville, AR; one Grandson Jay Garrison of Mustang, OK; his wife Liz and their sons Kristofer and Jayson; one Granddaughter, Lindsay Bedgood; her husband, Greg, and their sons Connor Alan and Hayden James; one sister Wanda Holloway of Moko, AR; a brother Kenny of West Plains, MO; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Maxine was a former member of First Baptist Church of Mammoth Spring for many years. She loved older people and visited them as well as the sick as often as she could; with all her farm chores. She was a great cook and she loved to take a delicious pie or cake along with her. She was sort of shy but she loved all her neighbors and her church family: but most of all—SHE LOVED JESUS!

Funeral Services for Mrs. Robinson will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 21st, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Funeral Home in Thayer.

Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas.
