Marsha June Brown Hanners was born April 11, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marshall Claunch and June Murray Claunch, and departed this life on January 14, 2022 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 78. 

Marsha is survived by two daughters, Pamela Hunter and Kim Brown; one brother, Londas Winn; one sister, Alma June Jacobsen; two grandchildren, Erica Skinner and her husband, John David and Jason Redburn and his wife, Meredith; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Redburn and Henry Redburn; other relatives; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Claunch and June Claunch. 

Marsha graduated from Waxahachie Bible Institute in Texas.  She retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) in Springfield, MO after 25 years. 

Marsha loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was affiliated with the Assemblies of God.  She also enjoyed singing.  She loved playing fetch with her grand-dog ‘Bubbles’.

She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Graveside services for Marsha June Brown Hanners will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m, in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri with Robbie Bonser officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
