Funeral services for Margaret Ellen Long, 84, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with Monte Neal officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

She was born the daughter of the late Richard Collins and May Baker Collins, on January 19, 1929 in Lake City, Arkansas and died November 13, 2013 in West Plains, Missouri.

She was united in marriage September 4, 1947 to Alvin Taylor, who preceded her in death August 10, 1973. She later was married on May 11, 1979 to Leo Long, who also preceded her in death June 8, 1989.

She is survived by one son, Richard Taylor, West Plains, Missouri; two step daughters, Helen Long, West Plains, Missouri, and Linda Long, West Plains, Missouri; five brothers, James Collins and wife, Helen, Viola, Arkansas, Euin Collins and wife, Sue, Gainesville, Missouri, John Collins and wife, Joan, Viola, Arkansas, Willie Collins and wife, Deann, Tecumseh, Missouri, and Larry Collins and wife, Ana, Jordan, Arkansas; two sisters, Marie Ricciardi and husband, Bill, Meridian, California, and Ida Kraemer and husband, James, Florence, Alabama; four grandchildren, Mike, James, and Robby Taylor, all of Pottersville, Missouri, and Patricia Enos, Bedias, Texas; four great grandchildren, David, Sierra and Caleb of Pottersville, Missouri, and Nikki of Bedias, Texas; four step grandchildren, Randy Long, wife, Melissa, Glen Long, wife, Carolyn, Kirk Long, wife, Makiah, and Ann Morris and husband, Brian; eight step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; two children, Gene and Janie Taylor; two step-sons, Melvin and Marvin Long; three brothers, Harlin, Jackie, and Marvin Eudell Collins, and one sister, Ellen Collins.

She had attended the Gospel Hill Church of Christ at Pottersville, Missouri. She will be missed by her family, friends, and loved ones, and a very special friend, Earl Callahan.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.

Burial will be in Gospel Hill Cemetery, Pottersville, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
