Lutelua (Smith) Poore was born the daughter of John Smith and Flossie (Robinson) Fuller on November 6, 1940, in Ash Flat, Arkansas, and departed this life December 2, 2015, in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 75 years.
She was united in marriage June 10, 2000, at Thayer, Missouri, to Cecil Poore.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Poore of the home in Thayer, Missouri; ten children, Timothy Fuller and wife, Donna of Kansas City, Missouri, Dale Fuller and Vickie of Thayer, Missouri, Wayne Fuller and wife, Michele of Thayer, Joe Fuller and wife, Diana of Thayer, Danny Fuller and wife, Lorie of Holts Summit, Missouri, Margaret Teckmeyer and husband, Wayne of Columbia, Missouri, Eddie Fuller and wife, Cynthia of Salem, Arkansas, Jenny Labahm and husband, Eric of Paris, Illinois, Ollie Poore of Nashville, Tennessee and Jamie Adams of Tennessee; twenty-four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Franklin of Jonesboro, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Smith; her mother, Flossie Fuller; three brothers, Henry Smith, William Smith and Earl Robinson; and three grandchildren.
Lutelua was an excellent cook. Her specialty was her wonderful homemade bread and hot rolls. She worked for many years at a variety of local restaurants including the Midway Truckstop and Stateline Restaurant at Thayer, and the Colony House Restaurant in West Plains.
She was a Christian and loved the Holy Scriptures. She loved spending time with her family and cared for them deeply. She enjoyed fishing and playing computer games.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, a true friend and a loyal neighbor. She will truly be missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral Services for Lutelua Poore, age 75, of Salem, Arkansas, formerly of Thayer, Missouri, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 2:00 PM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains, Missouri, with Erman Croney officiating.
The family will receive friends at Carter Funeral Home in West Plains on Saturday, December 5th, from 1:00 PM until service time.
Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery near Brandsville, Missouri.
