Lucille C. (Collins) Wacker was born the daughter of Frank and Veta Mae (Collins) Markle on January 4, 1933, in Statesboro, Georgia, and departed this life on September 4, 2014, in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 81 years.
She was united in marriage February 1, 1966, to William Karl Wacker, who preceded her in death on September 26, 1999.
She is survived by two daughters, Candie Harelson and husband, William of West Plains, Missouri, and P.J. Wacker of Abilene, Kansas; five grandchildren, Rob Cowart of Rome, Georgia, Morgan Lansing of Council Grove, Kansas, Madison Harelson of West Plains, Missouri, Karley Frigon and Riley Frigon of Abilene, Kansas; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandy Wacker; one infant son, Robbie Karl Wacker; and three brothers, Curtis, Floyd and Lloyd Collins.
Lucy was a dedicated homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #166 in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Some of her happiest moments were spent helping out at the Legion. She will truly be missed by all.
