Mary Lucille (Hensley) Cypret was born the daughter of Dewey Hensley and Lillie (Sisk) Hensley on January 15, 1923 in Oregon County, Missouri, and departed this life May 29, 2013 at West Vue Nursing and Rehab Center in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 90 years.

She was united in marriage to Herschel Lee Cypret, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1955.

She is survived by four children, Sue Sisco of Alpena, Arkansas, Larry Cypret of Myrtle, Missouri, Bob Cypret of Alton, Missouri, and Barbara Adamson and husband, Jerry of Marked Tree, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Mike Sisco and Lisa Cofield, both of Alpena, Arkansas, Pete Cypret of Salinas, California, and Jamie Wilson of Heber Springs, Arkansas; six great grandchildren, Joshua, Lauren, Zack, Summer, Sophie, and Chandler; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Lillie Hensley; her husband, Herschel Cypret; one son, Kenneth Cypret; one son-in-law, Delmer Sisco; and one daughter-in-law, Sandy Cypret.

Lucille was a dedicated homemaker, and following the death of her husband, she worked at various jobs, including cleaning homes and later, worked as secretary at the Alton Senior Citizen Center.

She was a faithful member of Centerpoint Church of God of Prophecy near Myrtle. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading, and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by her family and the community in which she lived.

Funeral Services for Lucille Cypret, age 90, of Myrtle, Missouri, will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Brother Jake Lawrence and Brother Kenny King officiating.

The body will Lie in State at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Friday evening, May 31st, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Burial will be in the Cotton Creek Cemetery, near Couch, Missouri.
