Dennison W PageGraveside services for Virgie Kathleen Dennison, 72, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Elk Creek Cemetery, with Brother Bill Bales officiating.

She was born the daughter of the late Hugh Willard and Mildred Earls  Willard,  on August 13, 1943 in West Plains, Missouri and died September 19, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri.

She was united in marriage November 5, 1965 in West Plains, Missouri to Lawrence Dennison.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Dennison, of the home, West Plains, Missouri; two sons, Randy Dennison and wife Darla, West Plains and Roger Dennison and wife Rhonda, Wiscasset, Maine; six grandchildren, Michael Dennison, Cody Dennison, Marshall Dennison, and Monique Dennison, all of West Plains; Jason Dennison and Jaylnn Dennison, both of Wiscasset, Maine and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Sharp.

Burial will be in Elk Creek Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    Very sorry for your loss! I worked with Kathleen at OMC for a few years. She trained me in the kitchen and was always very kind and helpful.

    So very sorry to hear of the loss of Kathleen. She was an amazing lady who we were so fortunate to know, I was lucky to work with her for a few years at OMC. Prayers to the entire family being sent.
