Judith Hoyt, 66, passed away at her home in West Plains, Missouri on September 1, 2023.

Judith Hoyt was born the daughter of the late John Hoyt and Gwendolyn Crill Hoyt in Berea, Ohio on July 1, 1957.

She is survived by one son, John Hoyt II of West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, David Hoyt and wife Kathy Hoyt and Donald Hoyt; one sister, Sheryl Brooks and husband John Brooks; one sister-in-law, Gayle Hoyt, and two granddaughters, Linda Hoyt and Gabrielle Hoyt.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Daniel Hoyt; one sister, Linda Hoyt Kruse, and one sister-in-law, Sherri Hoyt.

Judy was a kind and caring person. She would give all of herself to help those she loved. She raised her son by herself with love and compassion. She doted on her two beloved granddaughters, and cared for many animals and pets along the way. She cared for both of her parents during their final years. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

    My deepest condolences to John and the entire Hoyt family. I didn’t know Judy very well, but she seemed to be a sweet, kind, and happy person. I wish I could’ve got to know her better. Prayers for comfort and peace for her family and friends. Rest in heavenly peace Judy.
