Jolyssa Dawn Zurawski, 26, West Plains, Missouri passed away at her home in West Plains, Missouri, July 1, 2025.

She was born the daughter of Scott and Tabitha Zurawski on June 7, 1999.

She is survived by her parents; her children, Gage Mitchell and Blayze Davidson; siblings, Chelsie Zurawski, Damien Zurawski, (Trieneke Zurawski), Valerie Kosakowski, Dillon Fox, Alex Fox, and Hayden Fox.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Tawni Gross and her grandparents, Mike Pelc, Edith Zurawski, and Joseph Zurawski.

Jolyssa was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. As a sister she was the steady hand and gentle soul; the one who brought chaos to calm and joy to ordinary days. Her bond with her siblings was rooted in laughter, late night talks, and loyalty that never waivered. As a mother she was strong and overcame many obstacles for her children. As a daughter, she was loving, caring, and kept her parents on their toes. She may be gone from sight but not from our hearts.

A visitation time will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.

This life is cruel. And I just don’t know how to process it. I hope you and big sister are having the time of y’all’s lives up there and rooting and watching us down here. You’ll be forever missed sister.

I will never forget the energy, love and kindness you brought to the table. You were such a good person to work with and an even better friend. I will always look back at all the nights we spent together, the car rides busting music and wild talks we had. I will love and miss you dearly.
