    Joseph “Joey” Earl Tripp, 41, of West Plains, Missouri, formally of Kennett and Senath, Missouri areas, came into this world on February 28, 1982, in Kennett, Missouri, the son of Henry Tripp and Tracy Henfling and passed away on November 23, 2023, in Howell County, Missouri near Siloam Springs. He was a hard worker at the Timberland Coal Plant and enjoyed spending his time with his pittys (pitbull fur babies), hunting and going to the West Plains, Missouri truck pulls.  Joey had an infectious laugh and loved his family immensely. We are all saddened by the sudden loss of Joey, and he will be greatly missed.

    Joey is survived by his a son, Dalton Wade Fort of Paducah, Kentucky, life partner, Shawnda Rebstock, parents, Henry Tripp and Sherry Curtright, father-in-law, Pastor Chester Rebstock and wife, Norma of West Plains, Missouri, brothers; Jeffery Wayne Tripp and wife, Jessica of Kennett, Missouri and Richard Curtright of Nashville, Tennessee, grandmother, Patsy Vance of Senath, Missouri, Aunts; Christie Tice and husband, Steve of Kenneth, Missouri, and Lisa and husband, Christopher Tripp of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Uncles; Billy Tripp and wife, Kim of Kennet, Missouri, Paul and wife, Tammy Tripp of Portageville, Missouri, Michael Tripp and life partner, Dara Mitchell of New Madrid, Missouri,  niece, Ashlyn Grace Tripp, nephew, Ryland Phillip Gage Tripp, cousins; April Moody, Jason Moody, Logan Moody, Tiffany Lee and husband Alex, Brayden Lee, and Annaabelle Lee of Kennett, Missouri, many other loved ones and cherished friends.

    Joey is preceded in death by his daughter, Hailie Elizabeth Lee Tripp, mother, Tracy Henfling, maternal grandmother, Phyllis Neely, maternal grandparents, Collen and Billy Joe Henfling, paternal grandmother, Ossie Matthews, many other loved ones and friends.

    Memorial Services will be at a later date and officiated by Pastor Chester Rebstock. In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be sent to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, 225 E. Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60611

    To my son, my heart is broken but I understand why you had to leave. You will forever be missed. We love you so much. Fly high with Hailie and the angels. I will look for you and her in the stars. RIP my dear ones.

    I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Timberland Forest Products. He touched a lot of lives and will be missed. Prayers for comfort and peace to his family & friends… RIP Joe.
