Howard Campbell

    Woodrow Howard Campbell was born the son of Woodrow Hanford Campbell and Ina Evelyn Scott Campbell on July 19, 1941 in Randolph County, Arkansas and departed this life February 9, 2013 in Pocahontas, Arkansas at the age of 71 years.

    He was united in marriage on August 17, 1968 in Pocahontas, Arkansas , to Janis Noblin.

    He is survived by his wife, Janis of the home in Myrtle, Missouri; one son, Scott Campbell of Myrtle, Missouri; one granddaughter, Makyne Campbell; one brother, Richard Campbell and wife, Sharon of Thayer, Missouri; one sister, Phyllis Stayton and husband, Pete of Kimberling City, Missouri; one nephew; two neices; other relatives and many friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Ina Campbell and one infant sister.

Howard was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by McGhee Picture and Frame Company in Pocahontas, Arkansas in shipping and receiving, retiring after more than thirty years of service.

He was a faithful member of Myrtle Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and collecting cars and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will truly be missed by his family and many friends.

    Graveside Services will be Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Myrtle Cemetery at Myrtle, Missouri with Brother Ralph Douglas Officiating and burial in the Myrtle Cemetery at Myrtle, Missouri, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
