Eva Louise (Winn) Harper, the baby of 9, was born September 1, 1924, to James Albert and Mary Belle (Jones) Winn. She united with The Father on May 10, 2018, at Citizens Memorial Health Care Facility in Bolivar, Missouri at the age of 93 years.
In 1942, Eva married Robert John Harper, and to this union 5 children were born.
Eva was a beautiful soul with enough love in her heart to fill the universe. She had sparkling eyes and a smile so bright even the sun was intimated. She loved her heavenly father and all his creation. Her objective in life was to be a godly woman and a loving mother and she mastered them both.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; her husband; one son, Billy Bruce Harper; one grandson, Daniel Christopher Harper; and son-in-law, Donald Wayne Estes.
She is survived by her children, Bob Harper and wife, Avalyn, Dan Harper, Rosemary Estes, and Marcia Piper and husband, Mike; her grandchildren, Brian and wife, Katrina, Rodney and wife, Leigh, Anna and husband, Clark, Kerry, Lori, Joe and wife, Jennifer, Michael, Leesa and husband, Matt, and Scott and wife, Jennifer; and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Eva’s warm smile and loving hugs were a special gift. If you have had the privilege of knowing her, you have been smiled upon by God.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Reverend Darrell Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 12th from 1:00 PM until service time at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Walker Cemetery, near Thayer, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
