Eulalie (Hall) Humphrey was born the daughter of Claude Hall and Jessie Estes Hall on December 26, 1927 in Agnos, Arkansas and departed this life April 3, 2012 at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

She was united in marriage July 15, 1948 at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to Oliver R. Humphrey, who preceded her in death on November 7, 1984.

She is survived by one son, Bobby R. Humphrey and wife, Linda of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Garry Martin of Springdale, Arkansas, Tonya Hargrove of Thayer, Missouri, Kimberly Smith of Thayer, Missouri and Terry R. Humphrey of Cassville, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Devin and Alec Smith, Shelby and Paige Sutherland and Kinley Starr Humphrey; five step great grandchildren; two brothers, Boyd Ray Hall of Salem, Arkansas and Noble Dale Hall of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one sister, Ethel Morris of Gepp, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Jessie Hall; her beloved husband, Oliver Humphrey and daughter, Donna Sue Martin.

Before her retirement, Eulalie was a clerk at Palace Drug Store. She greeted customers with a smile and made many lasting friendships throughout the years.

Eulalie enjoyed reading and eating strawberry ice cream. Most of all, she loved her family and especially the joy her grandchildren brought into her life.

Mrs. Humphrey was of the Methodist faith, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loyal friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer with Loren Whetsell officiating. Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
