Elvis Orren Brinkley, Jr. 86 years old, of West Plains MO. Died July 24th, 2013.
He was born December 4th, 1927 in Pritchett, CO. to Elvis Orren Brinkley, Sr. and Veanas Oleatha Moody Brinkley.
As a young man was a wheat farmer in Baca county CO. then lived in southeast MO, worked Western Telephone Co. for 24 years. Then moved to Alaska for many years working in telecommunications and realestate. Retired to Missouri. He had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of Central Church of Christ in West Plains MO.
He was preceded in death by wife Ruby Esther Brinkley. And also wife Rose Marie Brinkley. He was survived by three daughters, Kitty Marie McKnigt, of Fordland, MO; Betty Jean Ice,of Houston, MO; and Sherry Lynn Hendricks, of Cabool, MO. Also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandaughter and one great grandson.
Graveside service will be held July 25th, 2013 in West Plains, MO.
