Doyle Eugene Vonallmen, 71 of Thayer, Missouri, passed away June 26, 2023, in West Plains, Missouri. Doyle was born April 9, 1952, in West Plains, Missouri to Estil and Ruby (Montgomery) Vonallmen Earls.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Endicott Martin on February 12, 2022. Doyle was a very gentle and humble man. He avoided conflict and would gladly lighten others’ loads by completing jobs others avoided. He loved God, his family and his country. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one brother Dennis, wife Joyce; one sister Bonnie Earls Matlock, husband James; two sons Benjamin (Skip) Vonallmen and Carl E. Collins, Jr.; three daughters Barbie Simmons, husband Joe, Christy Collins Pennell and Sherry Collins; grandchildren; numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Shirley Earls, husband Jerry; two brothers Billy Vonallmen and Jerry Vonallmen, wife Sandy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday July 1, at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Interment will be on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in Thayer, Cemetery, Thayer, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

Wow, that’s hard to believe.
Hard to read & find out this way of Doyle’s passing.
I known him for a few years but mostly when i was a teenager. I remember he was a very fair person & treated you respectfully. He had a lot of good qualities & mentored that to others.

M. Marshall. Thank you for your kind words. Doyle was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on June 17 and passed away 9 days later. I am his wife, Carolyn. He and i ‘dated’ for about 2 years (about 1964-65) then went in different directions. We reconnected and then married ( February 2022). He was a great guy back then and a wonderful husband.

At least you both had a few years to enjoy each other once again.
God kinda works that way & is a pretty amazing God.
