Funeral services for Dorothy Agnes Waggoner, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with Brother Bill Bales officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late William “Bill” Floyd Waggoner and Delia Mae Strain Waggoner, on June 7, 1926 in Alton, Missouri, and died September 26, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
She is survived by three sisters, Jo Ann Bales and husband, Bill, West Plains, Missouri, Wilda Lee, St. Clair, Missouri, and Margie Bales and husband, Jack, High Ridge, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, infant brother, James Waggoner and Raymond Waggoner; two sisters, Helen Bridges and Faye Simmons; one sister-in-law, Mary Waggoner and three brothers-in-law, Leamon Bridges, Robert Simmons, and Richard Lee, and several aunts, uncles, and both sets of grandparents.
She accepted Jesus as her Saviour as a young girl. She was a wonderful daughter, beloved sister and aunt, and friend to many, and will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery, Oregon County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
