Donald Barymon

Donald Utah Barymon was born the son of Charlie S. and Ollie Mae Waddell Barymon on June 21, 1935 in Wardell, Missouri and departed this life on May 19, 2012 at his home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

He was united in marriage at Auburn, Indiana on November 13, 1954 to Sarah Canoy.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sarah Barymon of the home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one son, Kluck Barymon and wife, Joyce of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two daughters, LaDonna McGhee and husband, Densal of Thayer, Missouri and Mary White and husband, David of Thayer, Missouri; three sisters, Shelby Hawlett of Sikeston, Missouri, Charlene Barymon of Wardell, Missouri and Gayla Middleton of Hayti, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Gabe, Adam, Faith Ann, Caleb, Tonya and Randy; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ollie Mae Barymon; one son, Randy Barymon; one daughter, Hope Barymon and one sister, Peggy Hooker.

Don was a graduate of Wardell High School, graduating with the Class of 1954. He will be remembered for his musical talent, playing in a Hillbilly Band for the school carnival and his Country-Western band’s weekly radio broadcast from KCRV in Caruthersville, Missouri.

Mr. Barymon was a well-known meat cutter all of his working years and last employed by Wallace & Owens grocery store in Thayer.

Mr. Barymon was a Christian, faithfully serving his Lord for 52 years. He was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle in Hardy, Arkansas and a former trustee, deacon and song leader.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will truly be missed by his family, his church family and many, many friends.

Funeral Services for Donald Barymon, will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer. The family will recieve friends at the Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri.
