Deanna Marie Amick was born the daughter of Edward Dale Amick and Linda Marie (Tinker) Amick on November 20, 1969 in Creve Coeur, Missouri and departed this life October 17, 2013 at her Mother’s home in Warm Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 43 years.

She is survived by one son, Dylan Amick of the home in Myrtle, Missouri; two brothers, Christopher Amick and his wife, Sharla of Warm Springs, Arkansas and Michael Amick and his wife, Sara of Myrtle, Missouri; two nieces, Gracie and Audree; three nephews, Charlie, Lane and Coy; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Tinker of St. Louis, Missouri, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Dale Amick; her maternal grandfather, Carl Edward Tinker and her paternal grandparents, Hughey and Ruby Amick.

Deanna was a graduate of Couch High School, graduating with the Class of 1987. She enjoyed sports, ran Cross Country and was a Couch Indian cheer leader for four years.

She earned her nursing degree from Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and was employed by Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for several years. She will be remembered for her deep devotion to her job and to those she served. Deanna also owned Mid America Legal Consulting Firm.

Deanna’s most enjoyable things in life were her family, her job and helping others. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Cemetery near Gatewood, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon.

Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

    My sincere condolences to Dylan and the Amick family. Deanna was a good friend, especially when we were younger, and will truly be missed. So sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers are with you all. God Bless!
