Darius Lee Manley, 50, passed away at 12:38 p.m. on May 13, 2014 at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri. Due to the complications of a car wreck off V highway Sunday evening.

He was born January 17, 1964. He worked as a mechanic for several years.

He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Fettig and husband (Brad), Alton, Missouri; his mother, Avis Manley, Bakersfield, Missouri; two brothers, Johnny Jay Manley, Bakersfield, Missouri, Curtis L. Manley and wife (Christina), Gassville, Arkansas; one sister, Mavis D. Heavener and husband (William), Caulfield, Missouri; two nieces, Dezirae L. Manley and Melody L. Manley of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four nephews, Austin J. Manley, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Dekota Manley, David Manley and Adam Heavener, all of Caulfield, Missouri; two step-nieces, Ryanna Spitzer, Gassville, Arkansas and Erin Heavener, Caulfield, Missouri, and two step-nephews, Kolby Spitzer, Gassville, Arkansas and Andrew Heavener, Caulfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Manley and one brother, Dustin Jed Manley.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hawkins Ridge Baptist Church, Ozark County, Missouri.

Family visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.

Burial will be in Clear Springs Cemetery, Ozark County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    I am so sorry and will miss Darius. I have seen him grow up and he always had good heart. And I will be praying for all of you and if there is anything I can do please let me know.
