Funeral services for Ruby Virginia Lasater, 93, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the First Christian Church, West Plains with Pastor Rick Rutledge officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

She was born the daughter of the late Otis A. Thompson and Virginia M. Weatherly Thompson, on April 17, 1921 in Howell County, Missouri and died August 9, 2014 in West Plains, Missouri.

She was united in marriage November 1, 1937 in Bryan, Ohio to Virgil Lasater, who preceded her in death February 5, 2013.

She is survived by four children, Jerry Lasater and wife, Kelly, Bella Vista, Arkansas, Jean Adams and husband, Charles, Springfield, Illinois, Janet Alexander and husband, Scott, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Jacque Gorman and husband, Marv, Franklin, Tennessee; one brother, Wayne Thompson, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Dortha Jones and husband, Neal, Columbia, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Patricia Ann Eagleman, 61, Harrison, Arkansas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Washington Avenue Church of Christ in West Plains.

She was born the daughter of the late Thurman Hensley and Mona Blair Hensley, on March 21, 1953 in West Plains, Missouri and died August 6, 2014 in Springfield, Missouri.

She was united in marriage June 1, 1968 in West Plains, Missouri to Jim Eagleman.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Eagleman, of the home, Harrison, Arkansas; two children, Trish Dufresne and husband, Steve, Harrison, Arkansas and Stacey Eagleman, Caulfield, Missouri; two siblings, Diane Dunnihoo and husband, Bruce, Blue Springs, Missouri and Rick Hensley and wife, Linda, Rapid City, South Dakota, and five grandchildren, Kelly Malone and husband, Robert, Harrison, Arkansas, Elizabeth Eagleman, Harrison, Arkansas, Trevor Dufresne, Harrison, Arkansas, Dalton Eagleman, Caulfield, Missouri, and Sydni Dufresne, Harrison, Arkansas.

Jay A. Berry of Quincy passed away July 31, 2013 at the age of 84. Jay was an electrician for Local 103 for 64 years. He was a veteran of the U.S Army. Jay traveled the world and was loved by all whose life he touched. He was the father of David Berry of Forest, Ohio; brother of Donn Berry of Weymouth and the late Edward J. Berry and Mary Berry; son of late John E. Berry and Lillian (OToole). He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews; grandchildren, Brandon Berry and Jeremy Berry; and great-grandchildren, Braxton, Abby, Azrael and Lucas Berry, all of St. Augustine, Fla.

Sandra Jeanneatte Losh, daughter of Gordon & Elizabeth Vaughan, was born December 28, 1958. She entered into eternal rest July 19th, 2014 at NHC in West Plains. She always had a great love for her family and was very involved with her daughter and granddaughters. She had a passion for rescuing dogs, taking loving care of them while she tried to find good homes for them to live.

She is survived by her daughter Lyndsay Dailing and husband Adam, three granddaughters Mikhala, Isabella & Breanna. Her brother Don Vaughan and wife Elaine, niece Amy Vaughan, nephew Chris Vaughan and wife Porsha and their children Whitney and Lorelai.

Funeral services for Connie Mae (Tharp) Powell, 52, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with Reverend Bill Bales officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

She was born the daughter of Mary Hollis Tharp and the late Ross Tharp, on October 28, 1961 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and died July 22, 2014 in Springfield, Missouri.

She was united in marriage April 16, 1982 in West Plains, Missouri to Donald Powell.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Powell, of the home, West Plains, Missouri; her mother Mary Hollis Tharp, West Plains; one son, Aaron Powell, West Plains, and one brother, Jack Tharp, West Plains.

Funeral Services for Mildred Louise Johnson, 90, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with Mark Hall officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

She was born the daughter of the late Charles Lloyd Cunningham and Cora Ethel Gilbert Cunningham, on July 30, 1923 in Roosevelt, Missouri and died July 18, 2014 in Willow Springs, Missouri.

She was united in marriage April 15, 1943 in West Plains, Missouri to Willis Johnson, who preceded her in death November 24, 2001.

She is survived by seven children, Larry Joseph Johnson, wife, Alice Jean, West Plains, Missouri, Doris Eleaine Seimears, Mount Vernon, Texas, Joyce Marie King, West Plains, Missouri, Stephen William Johnson, Tecumseh, Missouri, Deborah Louise Smith, husband, Clifford Wayne, Willow Springs, Missouri, Teresa Ehrhart and husband, William, Caulfield, Missouri, and Kerry Stevenson and husband, Robert, Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Ora Collins, Willow Springs, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Lucille Cunningham, Willow Springs, Missouri; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Anneliese Conzelman Betge passed away July 3, 2014 at West Vue Nursing Home, West Plains, Missouri.

She was born December 15, 1925 to Eugen and Anna Schault Conzelman in Albstadt, Germany.

In 1948 she was married to Helmut Betge, who precedes her in death.

She is survived by a brother, Eugen Conzelman, a sister, Maria Burger, a niece, Beate Keifer, and a nephew, Eugen Conzelman, Jr., all of Albstadt, Germany.

Anneliese was a woman of faith and set a tireless example of a Christian life. She had a loving, generous heart and will be missed by her many friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

Body will lie in state at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, from Monday, July 7, 2014 until time of service.

Husband, father, friend, golfer, competitor, crotchety old guy barking frustrations at himself– though you may have taken offense from time to time.

  On June 19, 2014, Frank Dwayne Utley began his heavenly adventures which one can nearly be certain will include lots of golf.

He will be missed.

Born July 18, 1938 in Hardy, AR and raised in Williford, AR and Thayer, MO. Frank graduated from Thayer High School in 1956 and had a career with Burlington Northern Railroad.

 Predeceased by his wife Ruby Risner Utley without whom he was simply lost, his brother Walter Utley and his parents John Arnold Utley and Dolly Irene Jenkins. 

Frank loved his family and is survived by his sons John Utley and Stan Utley (Elayna). 

 He will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, John Henry Utley (John), Tatum and Jake Utley (Stan). 

Funeral services for Arnold James Miller, 92, Thomasville, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

Mr. Miller died at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at West Vue Nursing Home, West Plains. He was born August 27, 1921 at Royal Oak, Missouri to Clyde and Leta Campbell Miller.

On March 9, 1946 he was married at Alton, Missouri to Hazle Daves.

Mr. Miller was a veteran having served with the United States Army serving 3 ½ years in WWII as a PFC. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed raising cattle and doing farm work. He was a member of the Pine Hill Assembly of God Church, Thomasville, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Hazle Miller of the family home; three grandchildren, Cheryl Judd and husband, Randy of Rover, Missouri, Chad Daugherty of Thomasville, Misouri, and Jennifer Daugherty of Thomasville, Missouri; five great granddaughters, Kayla Judd, Hope Judd of Rover, Missouri, Kaitlyn Daugherty, Edwardsville, Illinois, Rylin Daugherty, Thomasville, Missouri, and Emma Carnefix, Thomasville, Missouri; three step great grandchildren, Aaron Judd, Rover, Missouri, Dessa Carter and husband Josh, Thayer, Missouri, Eli Judd, Red Bay, Alabama; four step great great grandkids, Korra Judd, Bradley and Brooklyn Carter and Olivia Judd; son-in-law Gerald Daugherty, Thomasville, Missouri; two sisters, Lenora Synder, state of Illinois, Ruby Elliott, Harlow, Montana; four sister-in-laws, Pauline Miller, Christine Miller, Jean Daves, Wanda Daves; one brother-in-law Bud Daves, and numerous other famly and friends.

Graveside services for Willliam Henry Cloinger, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2014, at Homeland Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri with Brother Bill Bales officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

He was born the son of the late Lon Cloinger and Martha Elizabeth Johnston Cloinger, on August 1, 1921 in West Plains, Missouri and died May 26, 2014 in West Plains, Missouri.

He is survived by seven children, Betty Barton, Cabot, Arkansas, Ed Cloinger and wife, Dianna, Vilonia, Arkansas, Benny Cloinger, Watervlite, Michigan, Aretta Rhoads and husband, Carl, West Plains, Missouri, Tom Cloinger and wife, Gina, Jackson, Tennessee, Michele Cloinger, Cabot, Arkansas, and Jeanie Carter, Dallas, Texas; ten grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
