Funeral services for Donna Carol White, age 47, of Dickson, TN will be held, Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer. Family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Thayer Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, INC.
Reverend Marvin Edwin Pedigo was born the son of Horace Edwin Pedigo and Hazel Pohnert Pedigo on January 24, 1941 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and departed this life February 24, 2011 in Wildwood, Missouri at the age of 70 years.
He was united in marriage June 7, 1971 in Ann Harbor, Michigan to Brenda Bowman.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home in Wildwood, Missouri; five children, Carisa Watkins of Denver, Colorado, Melody Kruger-Ortiz and husband, Jose of Mount Jackson, Virginia, Joshua Pedigo and wife, Kate of Wildwood, Missouri, Joseph Pedigo and wife, Courtney of Harrisburg, Virginia and James Pedigo of New Market, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Kane of Buffalo, New York; three nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Hazel Pedigo; one daughter, Shelli Beggs and one grandson, Jason McClory.
Marvin was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a business owner and had been an ordained minister for many years, focusing on addiction recovery.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will truly be missed by all.
Charles Warren Cline, Jr, age 64, of Thayer, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 11:40 AM in Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer. Local arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, INC in Thayer.
Graveside services for Edith Howell, age 96, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Koshkonong, will be held, Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Koshkonong Cemetery with Gordon Dawley officiating. The body will lie in state at the funeral home Friday from 9:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Koshkonong Cemetery, Koshkonong, Missouri.
Visitation for Ethel Hathaway, age 98, of Thayer, formerly of Alton, will be Monday, February 14, 2011 from 6-7 PM at Carter Funeral Home. Mrs. Hathaway passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 5:35 AM in Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer.
Scottie J. Caldwell was born the son of Wesley G. Caldwell and Emma Holman Caldwell on March 12, 1937 in Thayer, Missouri and departed this life February 5, 2011 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 73 years.
He was united in marriage to Alice Marie Cunningham who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on August 10, 1978 at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Cora Pyles.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Caldwell of the home in Myrtle, Missouri seven children, Wesley Caldwell and wife, Diane of Maynard, Arkansas, Melba Croney and husband, Mitchell of Moberly, Missouri, Danny Zook and wife, Stacey of Myrtle, Missouri, Scott Caldwell, Jr. and wife, Traci of Myrtle, Missouri, Andy Caldwell of Myrtle, Missouri, Thelma Franks and Eugene Hurst both of Mountain Home, Arkansas; eighteen grandchildren, Leslie, Allicia, Mary Lauren, Mary, Danielle, Jale, Michelle, Marissa, Trey, Matthew, Blake, Michael, Cody, Amy, Tabitha, Bradley, Robert and Kenneth; two great grandchildren, Haven and Everr; one sister, Scheryl Helms and husband, Ray of Maynard, Arkansas; other relatives and many friends.
John L. Busch was born the son of Ernest Busch and Fanny Wrenfrow Busch on May 11, 1928 in Ravenden, Arkansas and departed this life February 1, 2011 in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 82 years.
He was united in marriage on September 5, 1951 at Salem, Arkansas to Mary Dodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two children, Danny Busch and wife, Pam of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Patricia Watkins and husband, Jim of Salem, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Krystal Briggs of Oakland, California, Tami Vaughn and husband, Damian of Salem, Arkansas, Teri Watkins of Salem, Arkansas, Daniel Busch and wife, Heather of Salem, Arkansas and Kylee Busch of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; six great grandchildren, Cloe, Mark, Makayla, Madison, Kaya and Drake; one sister, Lorene Ramirezent of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Lois Jean Baxley was born the daughter of Hubert Bennett and Opal Alford Bennett on April 29, 1948 in Couch, Missouri and departed this life January 29, 2011 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 62 years.
She is survived by one son, Van Baxley of Conway, South Carolina; two daughters, Lila Baxley and Johnnie Baxley both of Wichita, Kansas; several grandchildren; three brothers, Clinton Bennett and wife, Marie of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Jim Bennett of Mountain View, Missouri and Phillip Bennett and wife, Brenda of Hardy, Arkansas; two sisters, Frances Frisbee and husband, Lewis of Thayer, Missouri and Glenda Steininger and husband, Raymond of Dodge City, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.
