Carroll Moore

Carroll Eugene Moore was born the son of Eleck Eugene Moore and Eve Ann (Murray) Moore on April 30, 1951, in Hardy, Arkansas, and departed this life April 16, 2014, in Holdrege, Nebraska, at the age of 63 years.

He was united in marriage on October 29, 1970 at Hardy, Arkansas, to Carolyn Ann Lay.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Carolyn Moore of the home in Angleton, Texas; three sons, Carroll Eugene Moore, Jr. and companion, Dana Byrd of Angleton, Texas, Christopher Allen Moore of Angleton, Texas, and wife, Erin of Laurie, Missouri, and Curtis Eleck Moore of Angleton, Texas; two daughters, Cassandra Ann Sarabia and husband, Octavio of Rosharon, Texas, and Catharen Irene Sarabia and husband, Antonio of Rosharon, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Issack Eugene Moore, Ielexas Alisa Moore, Brandon Keith Moore, Madison Renee Moore, Omar Cheyenne Sarabia, Christian Noel Sarabia, Damian Octavio Sarabia, Eric Gabriel Sarabia, Patience Mary Pearl Moore, Jose Antonio Sarabia, Alyssa LaShay Sarabia, and Sondra Dominique Sarabia; one daughter-in-law, Rhonda Moore; one brother, James Franklin Moore and wife, Tony of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister, Brenda Kay Roach of Marmaduke, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleck and Eve Ann Moore; and one sister, Marilyn Ray.

Carroll was a self-employed truck driver. He lived much of his life on the road, hauling freight across the country for many years.

He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all.

The family will receive friends at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Funeral Services for Mr. Moore, age 63, of Angleton, Texas, formerly of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer, with Brother Bill Bales officiating.

    My deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. I feel your loss, but I guess GOD needed another angel. “Doc” will be missed, but I know he is seated in Heaven and you will see him again.

    So sorry to find this out through FB. I have been trying to contact Carroll for several years.
    In our last two years of HS, we did some crazy things like hitched to Memphis for a weekend. Sure was looking forward to spending some time discussing how our lives went different directions. Guess I will have to wait till God calls me home to visit with a great friend in my HS days. God bless the Moore family and may His peace be with you.
