Carol J. Lenardi was born March 25, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Josephine Lenardi. She was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Carol led a life filled with love and compassion. Her infectious laughter and unwavering kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Carol was a cherished sister to Anthony Lenardi and wife Paula, and Shirley Killinger and husband Tom; loving aunt to Frank Lenardi, Anthony Lenardi, and Mike Lenardi and wife Erin, Luke Killinger and wife Chrystal, Curt Killinger and Zak Killinger and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She had a love for rock n’roll music, being one of the first Beatlemaniacs, attending multiple concerts in the Chicago area. She had a great passion for England and made several trips to England to visit her longtime pen pals, Denise and Allen Jones. She retired from her job as an executive office manager. She was elected as Alderman in Elmhurst, Illinois, 4th District from 1955-1999. She also volunteered at Health Haven Botanical Garden in West Plains, Missouri as board secretary. She was a great lover of cats.
Her parents preceded her in death.
