It was a privilege for me to have known Booker. He was truly a man of his own making! I suppose it started as a young child when he killed those chickens with his bow and arrows at Soda Springs Idaho. Then from those Fox Fire Books a woodsman with exceptional skills. Owen said ” Booker is a vermit” who could fool a swamp owl with his hoots and screams ( as our friend “Elusive” and Wake) and yet was a smooth dance partner with Margaret. Be Assured that all how met Booker will always remember something he said or did, as I do.
