Bobby Bradley was born the son of Edith Bradley on December 29, 1930 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and departed this life on March 5, 2012 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.

He was united in marriage at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas on July 17, 1954 to Willie Mae Ivey.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Willie Mae Bradley of the home in Hardy, Arkansas; two daughters, Patsy Ann Hansen and husband, Mark of Naples, Florida and Connie Mae Bradley Luke and husband, Gain of Hardy, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Summer (Summy) and Bradley Conner Luke; four half -sisters, Barbara Stephens and husband, Gary of St. Peters, Missouri, Opal Pence of St. Peters, Missouri, Patsy Marshall of East Prairie, Missouri and Reba Funderburk and husband, Ron of Clearwater, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a special companion, his little dog, “Bear”.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Bradley and grandmother, Emma Bradley (Granny).

Bobby was employed as a Single-axle Truck Driver for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department for over 30 years, retiring in 1991. He loved working on vehicles, growing a bountiful garden and sharing his produce with family and friends, but his greatest joys in life were spoiling his grandchildren, spending time with his family and enjoying the company of his dog.

He was a believer in the Christian faith, a lifelong resident of Hardy, Arkansas, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his family and the community in which he lived.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 7th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Bronaugh Cemetery near Hardy, Arkansas under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
