Rosetta Christine Helt was born in Thayer, Missouri, the daughter of Lawrence Rutledge and Elizabeth Honeycutt Rutledge on August 2, 1954, and passed away on August 22, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth Rutledge; two brothers, Gilbert Rutledge and Dennis Rutledge; three sisters, Teletha Wieland, Debbie Smithee and Alma Scofield; one step-son, Joey Whitlow; and her soulmate, Rickey Whitlow.
Rosetta is survived by her husband Donald R. Helt, II; three children, Elizabeth Maxwell, Cassandra Jones and Donald Helt, III; one step-son, Rickey Whitlow; two step-daughters, Sharon Adams and Jessica White; two brothers, James Rutledge and Jerry Rutledge; two sisters, Mary Owens and Margaret Grable; one sister-in-law, Judith Rutledge; four grandchildren, Tapanga Maxwell, Dakota Maxwell, Tyler McKissick and Michael McKissick; nine step-grandchildren, Timothy Adams, Randall Adams, Ashley Dodson, Faith Cagle, Eli Cagle, and Jacob, Dakota, Cheyanne and Zack Whitlow; one great granddaughter, Mia Joe Maxwell; several step-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives; and many friends.
During her working career, Rosetta held many jobs. She was a housekeeper at the Marriott in Key West, Florida, worked as a waitress and as a clerk at Walgreens. Her last job was as a home health care aide.
Rosetta was a Christian.
She spent a lot of time playing games on her phone. However, what was most important to her was her family. She loved visiting with her family and especially enjoyed family gatherings.
Rosetta will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Memorial services for Rosetta Christine Helt0 will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Rickey Whitlow officiating with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist in paying for the memorial services.

What a wonderful friend Chris has always been. A woman of God and an extremely helpful person to anyone around her. We will all miss her so much. Prayers for all of her family. I love you Chris. Until I see you in The Kingdom, I will miss you deeply.
