Eva Virlean Ledbetter was born July 11, 1932 in Pottersville, Missouri to the late Arch Burch and Anna Hall, and departed this life March 18, 2021 at her home in Twin Bridges, Missouri.
She was united in marriage June 15, 1950 in West Plains, Missouri to W.J. Ledbetter, who preceded her in death September 27, 2013.
She is survived by nine children, Dale Ledbetter, Twin Bridges, Missouri; Dave Ledbetter, West Plains, Missouri; Dean Ledbetter, West Plains, Missouri; Dan Ledbetter and wife Tina, West Plains, Missouri; Don Ledbetter, Midway, Arkansas; Doris Hambelton and husband Guy, Gainesville, Missouri; Dal Ledbetter and wife Lori,Gainesville, Missouri; Doug Ledbetter, Hollister, Missouri, and Devin Ledbetter, Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Karen Browning, Lacey Springs, Alabama; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one stillborn son, William Charles Ledbetter; two brothers, Howard Hall and Leroy Burch, and one sister, Virda Mae Peterson.
She loved life, her flowers, gardening, and farm life. Words cannot sum up the effect this one woman’s life has had on so many of us. Our grief is heaven’s gain.
Graveside services will be Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains
