Della Faye Agnew was born in Fulton County, Arkansas, the daughter of Lewis Geib and Lura Hatfield Geib on December 16, 1939 and departed this life on February 16, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 80 years.

Della was united in marriage to Walter Donald Agnew on October 3, 1964 in Fulton County, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Agnew; her nephew, Mark Gower and his wife, Sonyia; her nieces, Marilynn Wheeler and her husband, Ben, and Sharon Brewer and her husband, Daniel; her sister-in-law, Hazel Gower and her husband, Bill; many great nieces and great nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lura Geib; her brother, Ray Geib and her infant twin brother, John Geib; and her niece, Janet Gower.

Della was a Christian and a member of the Delhalf Church of Christ.

Before she married Donald, Della worked at the Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis. After they were married, Donald and Della worked together. For a long period, they ran a logging business. Later, they carried mail in Fulton County, Arkansas.

In her spare time, Della liked to cross-stitch, complete word search puzzles, gardening and spending time on the farm.

Della was a loving wife and aunt. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral services for Della Faye Agnew will  be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Delhalf Church of Christ in Myrtle, Missouri with Mike Stone and Jeff Lancaster officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Delhalf Church of Christ in Myrtle on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from 12:00 PM to service time.

Interment will be in Pilot Cemetery in Fulton County, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Paragould Children’s Home.
