Vida Vivian Ostrom was born the daughter of Adolph E. Ostrom and Rose D. Wagner Ostrom on November 19, 1928 in Cherokee, Iowa and departed this life March 1, 2011 in Thayer, Missouri at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by one brother, William Ostrom of Thayer, Missouri; three sisters, Erma Woods of Alton, Missouri, Betty Stark of Lexington, Tennessee and Linda Holman and husband, Larry of Trumann, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Rose Ostrom and one brother, Robert Ostrom.
Vida was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed housework, doing laundry, growing and caring for her flowers.
She was of the Lutheran faith, a kind, loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt. She will truly be missed by all.
