Betty Collins

Betty Collins, daughter of Tim Stubbs and Lola Collins Stubbs was born August 25, 1928 in West Plains, Missouri, and died September 29, 2019 at the age of 91 years.

She was united in marriage December 15, 1947 to Lloyd J. Collins, who preceded her in death February 7, 2001.

She is survived by two children, Rebecca Owens and husband Randy, West Plains, Missouri, and Lloyd James Collins II and wife Vickey, West Plains, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Torrie Bidell and husband Deion, Springfield, Missouri; Deidra Brixey,West Plains, Missouri; Tina Sears and husband Tommy, state of Maryland; Norman Clark and wife  Candice, Lincoln, Nebraska; Kevin Collins, West Plains, Missouri; William Collins II, West Plains, Missouri; Lori Barks-Payton and husband Chris, Springfield, Missouri; Chantell Lambert and husband Corey, West Plains, Missouri; Jason Collins, West Plains, Missouri; Randy Owens II and wife Jessica, state of Oklahoma; Shana Collins and husband Dustin, West Plains; Lloyd Collins III, West Plains, Missouri, and Dustin Collins, West Plains, Missouri; twenty-three great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren.

She is preceded death by her parents; her  husband; eight children, Katherine Collins, Paul Collins, Terry Collins, Jerry Collins, Larry Collins, Glenda Collins, Timothy Collins, and Thomas Collins; one brother, Coy Collins; two sisters, Roberta Collins and Leah Collins, and one grandson, Anthony Collins.

She was a constant prayer warrior. She loved to sing and read. She loved her family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.at Siloam Springs Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, with Brother Bill Bales officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
