Gosh, what to say…? Ed, you were one absolute AWESOME man. The world has lost such a kind, loving and generous person, but God has gained an amazing angel!! We are so, so thankful to have known this guy for over 30 years and again, so thankful to have gotten to see him and Rose a couple months ago. Rose, you remain in our hearts and in our prayers. Stay strong as God will be right beside you helping you through this very difficult time. Ed will now be your guardian angel until you meet again in Heaven.

Uncle Ed was by far my favorite uncle growing up. I have such fond memories of our two families having fun together at our homes and also at Homestead Lake with Grandma and Grandpa Berger. My favorite memory was getting to ride with you on your Farm Crest route on a Saturday making your deliveries. I’m not sure how old I was but I still remember it vividly.

Aunt Rose and family– you are in my heart and thoughts this week. I really wish I could have come today but I just couldn’t make it work unfortunately. Uncle Ed’s smiling face will be shining upon all of us.

    Love, Kathy

I worked with Ed at AAA for almost 20 years and he was a gentleman, had a tremendous work ethic, great sense of humor, was a loving father and husband and I am going to miss Ed. He was one of the best people I have ever known. I will miss him greatly.

    Rose and kids,
I’m so sorry for your (our) loss. I wanted to be there for you but just can’t make it. Ed has always been an inspiration to me and a big reason I now have a relationship with God. We’re taught to let people see Jesus in us and you could really see Him in Ed. He always seemed to have the right words to say in any situation especially when you were down and left you feeling better about yourself. I’ll miss him very much.

    God bless
    Love Ed
