Dana “Ray” Morris, 68, of Bakersfield, Missouri, passed away on March 14, 2025, in Bakersfield, Missouri. Ray was born on November 28, 1956, in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, that later turned into his beloved hometown.
Ray’s mother, Pansy Jo Kent Richardson, instilled in him the importance of helping others. Whenever he wasn’t focusing on helping others, Ray enjoyed hunting. He worked for the Armstrong Hardwood Flooring (AHF) company and was a devoted professional with 36 years of unwavering dedication. He maintained a strong connection with his family, and they were at the center of his life.
Ray is survived by his three children; Kenny Morris, Steven Morris (Amber), Dana Emerson-Morris (Ryan,), nine grandchildren; Jerry Robert Morris, Johnathen Morris, Rayne Morris, Arora Morris, Hunter Morris, Sierra Richert (Dakota), Beau Morris, Rylee Emerson, and Ayla Emerson, four great-grandchildren; Asher Thompson, Raelynn “Rae” Biggs, Holdyn Morris, and Azzy Richert, seven siblings and many friends.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Kenny Richardson “Grandpa Kenny” and Pansy Jo Kent Richardson, and one sibling, Charlie Richardson.
Ray will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Love you brother Ray and will miss our occasional conversations and our departure from meeting’s was ended with a hug just as it is with our kids and that always makes our last encounter so memorable.
