Maxine Dills      Graveside services for Maxine Dills, 94, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, with Charlie Phelps, Leroy Kuykendall, Jim Brooks and Orvis Lunn officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Richard Vaughn and Minnie Jackson Vaughn, on May 16, 1921 in Koshkonong, Missouri and died June 10, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage March 14, 1937 in West Plains, Missouri to Beryl Dills, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children, Leona Kuykendall and husband Leroy, Chantilly, Virginia; Neoma Crouse, Mountain View, Missouri; and Linda Lunn and husband Orvis, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Jessie Highfield, Lockwood, Missouri; five grandchildren, Michael Lunn and wife Andrea, West Plains, Missouri; Cheri Brooks and husband Jim, Republic, Missouri; Paula Powell and husband Paul, Gainesville, Virginia; Charlie Crouse and wife Suzan, Doyline, Louisiana; and Dave Kuykendall, Centreville, Virginia; eleven great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren, and one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Paul and Ernest Vaughn, one sister, Mildred Dills, and one son-in-law, Chuck Crouse.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in honor of her grandson, and can be left at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
