Visitation services for Lois Jean Maki, 73, West Plains, Missouri, will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
She was born the daughter of the late George Phipps and Violet Steen Phipps on May 24, 1941 in Chicago Heights, Illinois and died March 17, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage December 31, 1959 in Crete, Illinois to William M. Maki, Sr., who preceded her in death August 30, 2004.
She is survived by three children, Tonette Boss and spouse, Barbara Stull, Shelbyville, Tennessee, Wanda Voeltz and spouse, Rick, West Plains, Missouri, and John Maki and spouse, Doris, Jefferson City, Missouri; four siblings; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, William Maki, Jr., and nine siblings.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
