Graveside services for Rosalie B Weaver, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Plains, with Reverend Rick Rutledge officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Harvey Banks and Hazel Williams Banks, on August 1, 1928 in Shannon County, Missouri and died December 13, 2014 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage March 13, 1948 in Salem, Arkansas to Abraham Weaver, who preceded her in death March 25, 2001.
She is survived by two children, Pamela Ann Harris and husband, Joe, West Plains, and Mary “Susan” Crisp and husband, Allen, Jonesboro, Arkansas; her special four-legged companion of thirteen years, Murphy; one sister, Betty Jo Dalrymple, Bend, Oregon; one brother, Robert Banks and wife, Evelyn, Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren, Jo Lynn Abney, Branson, Missouri, John David Hayes and wife, Jolean, Flagstaff, Arizona, Jeffrey Crisp and wife Gabrielle, Republic, Missouri, and Sarah King and husband, Zachary, Jonesboro, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Oliver King, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jordan Abney, Branson, Missouri, and Rebecca Abney, Branson, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, and one sister, Billie Mansfield.
She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church, West Plains. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, West Plains, and can be left at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
