Matthew Dale Beatty, age 57, passed away July 10, 2023, at the family’s cabin in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. He was born November 14, 1965, in Salem, Arkansas, to Martin Dale and May Belle Beatty of Thayer, Missouri.
Matt is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rachel and their son Zachary of Springfield, Missouri; his mother May Belle of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one brother Mike and wife Paige of Mount Vernon, Missouri; his nephew and niece Marshall and Cassidy Beatty.
Matt is preceded in death by his father Martin Dale Beatty.

Matt worked for United Parcel Service for 34 years, and not being one for sitting down, he started his landscaping business, Matt’s Mowing Service, before he retired.
Matt loved the outdoors, whether it be golfing, water skiing, or firing up the grill with family and friends. But what he loved most of all was watching Zachary play baseball.
Zach Dale Beatty #33 “Words cannot describe the amount of pain losing you is. To the man that has taught me everything I know and love, how to treat people the right way, how to work hard, keep my head screwed on tight, play the game of baseball, all of it. I thank you for making me the man I am today. To Matthew Beatty, a hard-nosed man who fought to the end, I will do everything in my power to live up to your name. Until we meet again Dad, get your glove ready❤️”
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Thayer, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday July 15, at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the First Baptist Church in Thayer, Missouri.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Beatty family. I have fond memories of playing football with Matt and Mike in High School. Matt was a hard nosed player on the field but always had a smile for you off the field. May God wrap his arms around all of you.
