Joyce Ann Forristall was born August 9, 1943 to Asa and Elizabeth Forristall. She went to her forever home June 18, 2023.
Joyce Ann was a true woman of God. She loved Jesus first and spent most days studying the word. She lived a life as to make her Father proud. Joyce loved children and taught hundreds of them the gospel by serving as a Sunday School teacher at Bethel Baptist Church for nearly fifty years. She loved her church family.
She had a servant’s heart and lived to glorify God. She enjoyed time alone in prayer and collecting cards for various occasions for the people she loved. She is no doubt dancing with the angels in heaven.
Joyce is survived by her nephew Dave Boone and wife Lisa; niece Clara Young; three great nephews, Jason Young, Wesley Young and Nathan Boone and wife Kialy; one great niece, Lynsey Sullivan and husband Cam; one great-great niece, Kensi Young, and two great-great nephews, Larson Sullivan and Tanner Sullivan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janice Boone, and brother-in-law, Gerald “Pete” Boone.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Fork Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to South Fork Cemetery, or the Bethel Baptist Church, and can be left at the funeral home.
